One Clean Beach

In about 6 years, Dawn Casillas has picked up over 14 thousand pounds of trash all on her own. In this short documentary, I worked with my sister Zuzu Grueskin to capture and share this amazing story with our community here in North County San Diego. Thanks to Dawn’s incredible work this film was awarded a Student Emmy by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) in June 2025.
